ASE is short for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, an independent non-profit organization that since 1972 has worked to improve the quality of vehicle repair by testing and certifying automotive professionals.
Many of the staff members in AGC Collision Center’s offices and shops have earned ASE certification by taking the ASE testing specific to the collision repair industry. It’s another sign to you of our commitment to excellence and professionalism.

For more than 75 years, AGC Collision has been providing Los Angeles with quality vehicle repair services. Founded in 1949, AGC Collision has had three generations of auto collision repair professionals running the business, and we are thrilled to be carrying on the tradition. We now have two locations to serve you. Our state-of-the-art, 40,000-square-foot facility on Sunset Boulevard in Silver Lake dwarfs the company’s original building. In 2022, we opened our second shop in the Valley (North Hollywood), a 50,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility. Vehicles and technology have changed but some of the most important things to us have not: We remain committed to caring for our customers and repairing vehicles right the first time.
